CLOSED 5/1

Please be aware that the Library will be CLOSED this Thursday 5/1.  No fines will be charged for that day.  I do plan to be open Friday, altho the place may be a mess.  Getting a  CIRCULATION DESK and other library WOOD things like counter tops and bookcase ends installed!!!!!  So excited!!

The ribbon has been officially cut
and the Mildred Vrooman Egg Exhibit is officially open!
The Easter Egg Museum, located on Covered Bridge Lane
at the intersection of Routes 30 and 443 in Schoharie,
will be opening every Friday through Sunday from April 4th- 20th
and by appointment to benefit the Library.

Raffle tickets are still available
for the Egg Museum Basket and the Keur-Egg Basket.
Tickets can be purchased at the Egg Museum,
where the baskets are now on display, or at the Library.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. A
ll proceeds go toward future library projects.

We are hoping that our baby chicks will be hatching this week between April 10th-12th. We will be celebrating their arrival with an exciting week of programming.

Our new project is creating “Lap-gans” for the the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. Each lap-gan is 4'x 4' in size and can be in any design or color.
If you are unable to join us on Mondays please feel free to stop by
and pick up your yarn to begin your project during library hours.
