Dr. Luz to Speak ... Eventually

Dr. Joseph Luz, Lieutenant Colonel, United States Army Reserve, will speak about his role and experiences while serving in Iraq. NOTE: DR. LUZ HAS BEEN RECALLED TO ACTIVE DUTY AND WILL BE GOING OVERSEAS AGAIN IN MAY!!

NYSRA Quilt Raffle

The Schoharie Free Library is proud to host “The Black Quilt” raffle in the Public Gallery. Author signatures have been collected by the New York State Reading Association and worked into a unique work of art. For just $2/ticket (or $5/3), you get a chance to win autographs by Avi, Eve Bunting, Gary Paulsen, Diane DeGroat and more!
The NYS Reading Association is raising money for the Central Asia Institute. Founded by Greg Mortenson, author of “Three Cups of Tea,” the Institute builds and supports schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Tickets will be sold through Thursday March 4th, and the winners will be chosen March 8th.
