Science in the Summer

"Science in the Summer" comes to the Schoharie Library on Thursday July 24th from 1-2:30 pm. School-aged children and their families can play with the approximately two dozen science stations that will be set up all around the building. Retired GE scientists Waxy Waxgiser, Joe DiPietro and Hal Webster will be here to explain the how and whys of each hands-on activity. Drop in any time!

Ant Farm

As a part of the "Catch the Reading Bug" Summer Reading Program, I bought an AntWorks farm from The harvester ants are living in a nutritious gel developed by NASA for experiments in space. I unplug the LEDs while the Library is closed, so the ants gets some "down time."
